Pre-Installed Locks

Standard BikeLids utilize the cyclist’s own lock. Optional pre-stalled locks include external U or monoblock locks, and internal key, combination, or on-demand electronic locks. Pricing is based on the type of lock installed.

Validation/Revenue Window

The optional 3” X 4” Validation/Revenue Window, with ticket clip, is located on the front shoulder of the BikeLid (about 12” above the locking mechanism). The window is intended for providers who want to charge for secure bike parking on a pay per use or period basis. The window provides a simple means to monitor validated occupancy, using a validation ticket dispensed by existing multi-vehicle parking meters, transit ticket kiosks, or other system.
